MARINE

Our systems are designed and built using commercially available system components.

By avoiding limited availability or bespoke components our clients can have confidence that our systems can readily be upgraded, and they benefit from lower cost and widely available spares.

Whilst we are happy to provide all our clients with a support and maintenance service we design our systems so that they can be maintained in-house or by any suitably qualified approved supplier.

All system components are approved by Lloyds Register and each installed system is fully audited and tested by Lloyds Register prior to and after installation, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met and ensuring quality of the system design. We design all our systems with in-built diagnostic reporting to allow operators to rapidly identify any problems.

Our systems are designed to enhance safety and substantially reduce vessel downtime. Our systems are always designed with the operator in mind – intuitive screen designs and touchscreen panels are designed for ease of use whilst in transit.

SVITZER

Part of the Maersk Group, Svitzer are the global market leader in towage and emergency response.

BACKGROUND

Svitzer operate a large number of towage vessels at ports across the UK. Marine vessels have a long lifespan and the fleet varies in age. As vessels age engineers face greater difficulty supporting and sourcing parts for these legacy systems. Legacy systems become increasingly expensive to maintain and potentially lead to greater downtime.

Vessels sourced from different OEM’s are fitted with different and incompatible diagnostic systems which increases servicing complexity.

Sysservers were approached to design a new standardised alarm system that could be retrofitted across the fleet. The new system has already replaced a number of legacy systems by various manufacturers and is in operation on vessels of different sizes and with a wide array of engine configurations. As vessels are made available for refurbishment we offer a complete installation service: We survey the vessel, configure our modular system design, and carry out a full system installation – always working around the customer requirements and the availability of the vessel.
